पतिव्रता महाभागा छायेवानुगता सदा।इत्युक्त्वा प्राक्षिपद्राजा मन्त्रपूतं जलं तदा।।।।

Transliteration

pativratā mahābhāgā chāyevā́nugatā sadā |

ity uktvā prākṣipad rājā mantrapūtaṃ jalaṃ tadā || 1.73.28 ||

Translation

“သူမသည် ပတိဝြတ—ခင်ပွန်းသစ္စာတည်သော မဟာဘဂါ—ကံကောင်းမြတ်သူ ဖြစ်၏။ အမြဲတမ်း အရိပ်ကဲ့သို့ သင်နောက်လိုက်မည်” ဟု ဆိုပြီးနောက် မင်းကြီးသည် မန္တရဖြင့် သန့်စင်ထားသော ရေကို ထိုခဏပင် ပက်ဖျန်း하였다။
