Lakṣmaṇa’s militant counsel and Rāma’s dharma-based persuasion of Kausalyā
यशो ह्यहं केवलराज्यकारणान्न पृष्ठतः कर्तुमलं महोदयम्।अदीर्घकाले न तु देवि जीवितेवृणेऽवरामद्य महीमधर्मतः।।2.21.62।।
yaśo hy ahaṁ kevalarājyakāraṇān na pṛṣṭhataḥ kartum alaṁ mahodayam | adīrghakāle na tu devi jīvite vṛṇe 'varām adya mahīm adharmataḥ || 2.21.62 ||
နိုင်ငံတော်အတွက်သာကြောင့် ဤမဟာဂုဏ်သိက္ခာကို နောက်သို့ပစ်ချထားရန် ငါမတတ်နိုင်။ ဒေဝီမယ်တော်၊ ဤဘဝသည် မရှည်လျားလှ; ယနေ့ ငါသည် အဓမ္မဖြင့် ဤမြေပြင်သေးငယ်ကို ရယူရန် မရွေးချယ်ပါ။
