King Prajāpāla’s Visit to Sage Mahātapā’s Hermitage and the Doctrinal Praise of Nārāyaṇa

तस्मिन् महातपा नाम ऋषिः परधार्मिकः । तपस्तेपे निराहारो जपन् ब्रह्म सनातनम् ॥ १७.७ ॥

tasmin mahātapā nāma ṛṣiḥ paradhārmikaḥ | tapastepe nirāhāro japan brahma sanātanam || 17.7 ||

Di sana ada seorang ṛṣi bernama Mahātapā, yang amat teguh pada dharma. Dengan berpuasa tanpa makanan, dia menjalani tapa dan melafazkan Brahman yang kekal.
