यज्ञोपवीतं च ततस्तेन विप्रेण बोधितः । यं कञ्चिद्द्रक्ष्यसे लोके भ्रमन्तं भूतले द्विजम्

yajñopavītaṃ ca tatastena vipreṇa bodhitaḥ | yaṃ kañciddrakṣyase loke bhramantaṃ bhūtale dvijam

Kemudian, atas bimbingan brāhmaṇa itu, dia pun dipakaikan yajnopavīta, benang suci. “Sesiapa pun yang engkau lihat di dunia ini—seorang dvija yang mengembara di muka bumi—…”
