आढक्यश्चणकाश्चैव कणाः सप्तदश स्मृताः । इत्येता ओषधीनां च ग्राम्याणां जातयः स्मृताः
āḍhakyaścaṇakāścaiva kaṇāḥ saptadaśa smṛtāḥ | ityetā oṣadhīnāṃ ca grāmyāṇāṃ jātayaḥ smṛtāḥ
Dan āḍhakī serta kacang kuda (chickpea) juga—demikianlah ‘biji-bijian’ diingati berjumlah tujuh belas. Inilah sesungguhnya jenis-jenis tanaman ladang yang diingati dalam kalangan tumbuhan herba.
