सूर्यस्य तेजसा दग्धाः पातालमगमन्पुरा । कलौ तद्द्वारमेवास्ति न पाताले गतिः प्रिये
sūryasya tejasā dagdhāḥ pātālamagamanpurā | kalau taddvāramevāsti na pātāle gatiḥ priye
Dahulu mereka hangus oleh sinar Surya lalu turun ke Pātāla. Namun pada zaman Kali, wahai kekasih, yang tinggal hanyalah pintu itu—tiada lagi jalan masuk ke Pātāla.
