Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 12

सर्वोपकरणैर्दर्भैः सुमनोभिः पृथग्विधैः । अथ सा चिंतयामास गौतमी पुत्रदुःखिता

sarvopakaraṇairdarbhaiḥ sumanobhiḥ pṛthagvidhaiḥ | atha sā ciṃtayāmāsa gautamī putraduḥkhitā

Dengan segala kelengkapan yang diperlukan—rumput kuśa dan pelbagai jenis bunga—maka Gautamī, yang dirundung dukacita kerana ketiadaan anak, mula merenung dengan mendalam.
