एवमेतत्पुरावृत्तमर्बुदे पर्वतोत्तमे । लिंगस्य पतनात्पूजां यन्मां त्वं परि पृच्छसि
evametatpurāvṛttamarbude parvatottame | liṃgasya patanātpūjāṃ yanmāṃ tvaṃ pari pṛcchasi
Demikianlah hal itu berlaku pada zaman purba di Arbuda, gunung yang paling mulia. Engkau bertanya kepadaku tentang pemujaan yang timbul kerana turunnya (jatuhnya) Liṅga.
