Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 15
त्यक्तस्तु वह्निना मर्त्यस्ततो नाशं गता नराः । शेषनाशाद्वयं सर्वे विनंक्ष्यामो न संशयः
tyaktastu vahninā martyastato nāśaṃ gatā narāḥ | śeṣanāśādvayaṃ sarve vinaṃkṣyāmo na saṃśayaḥ
Apabila Agni, Dewa Api, meninggalkan, manusia pun jatuh ke dalam kebinasaan. Bila sisa yang tinggal turut musnah, maka kita semua juga akan binasa; tiada syak lagi.
