तेनैकं वदनं मुक्त्वा तस्या वस्त्रावगुंठितम् । वीक्षिताऽतिस्मरार्तेन यथा कश्चिन्न बुद्ध्यते

Transliteration

tenaikaṃ vadanaṃ muktvā tasyā vastrāvaguṃṭhitam | vīkṣitā'tismarārtena yathā kaścinna buddhyate

Translation

Dengan niat itu, dia membiarkan hanya wajahnya terbuka sementara yang lain terselubung kain; lalu dia merenung tajam, begitu ditimpa gelora asmara yang melampau hingga hampir tidak mampu berfikir waras.
