ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । यद्येतच्छुणुते राजा वाक्यमीर्ष्यापरायणः । तत्सर्वेषां वधं कुर्याद्विप्राणामन्यथा भवेत्
brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | yadyetacchuṇute rājā vākyamīrṣyāparāyaṇaḥ | tatsarveṣāṃ vadhaṃ kuryādviprāṇāmanyathā bhavet
Para brāhmaṇa berkata: “Jika raja—yang dikuasai rasa cemburu—mendengar kata-kata ini, dia mungkin akan membunuh kami semua, para brāhmaṇa; jika tidak, halnya akan menjadi lain (daripada yang dimaksudkan).”
