औदुम्बर्युवाच । का शक्तिर्विद्यतेऽस्माकं कृतं सावित्रिसंभवम् । अन्यथा कर्तुमेवाद्य सर्वैरपि सुरासुरैः

audumbaryuvāca | kā śaktirvidyate'smākaṃ kṛtaṃ sāvitrisaṃbhavam | anyathā kartumevādya sarvairapi surāsuraiḥ

Audumbarī berkata: “Apakah daya yang ada pada kami untuk mengubah apa yang telah timbul daripada titah Sāvitrī? Bahkan semua dewa dan asura sekalipun, bersatu bersama, tidak mampu menjadikannya lain pada hari ini.”
