य एष क्रियते यज्ञस्तस्य नाथो हरिः स्मृतः । एतस्मात्कारणात्प्रोक्तः स देवो यज्ञपूरुषः
ya eṣa kriyate yajñastasya nātho hariḥ smṛtaḥ | etasmātkāraṇātproktaḥ sa devo yajñapūruṣaḥ
Bagi yajña yang sedang dilakukan ini, Hari diingati sebagai Tuan. Oleh sebab itulah, dewa itu disebut Yajñapuruṣa—Pribadi suci bagi yajña itu sendiri.
