सूत उवाच । अहं वः कीर्तयिष्यामि सर्वं यज्ञस्य संभवम् । वृत्तांतं यच्च तत्रस्थ माश्चर्यं द्विजपुंगवाः

sūta uvāca | ahaṃ vaḥ kīrtayiṣyāmi sarvaṃ yajñasya saṃbhavam | vṛttāṃtaṃ yacca tatrastha māścaryaṃ dvijapuṃgavāḥ

Sūta berkata: “Wahai yang terbaik antara kaum dvija, aku akan menuturkan kepada kamu seluruh asal-usul dan perjalanan yajña itu, serta kisah peristiwa menakjubkan yang berlaku di sana.”
