Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 70
प्राशने पूर्वमुक्तानि सर्वाण्येव समाचरेत् । समाप्तौ च ततो दद्यात्षड्भागं गृहसंभवम्
prāśane pūrvamuktāni sarvāṇyeva samācaret | samāptau ca tato dadyātṣaḍbhāgaṃ gṛhasaṃbhavam
Pada waktu prāśana, hendaklah dilakukan semua perkara yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya. Dan setelah selesai, hendaklah diberikan satu perenam daripada hasil rumah tangga sebagai sedekah.
