चित्रांगद उवाच । तव रूपं समालोक्य कामस्याहं वशं गतः । तस्माद्भजस्व मां भीरु नो चेद्यास्यामि संक्षयम्
citrāṃgada uvāca | tava rūpaṃ samālokya kāmasyāhaṃ vaśaṃ gataḥ | tasmādbhajasva māṃ bhīru no cedyāsyāmi saṃkṣayam
Citrāṅgada berkata: “Melihat keelokanmu, aku telah jatuh di bawah kuasa nafsu. Maka, wahai yang pemalu, terimalah aku—jika tidak, aku akan menuju kebinasaan.”
