वामयामास बहुशो भक्षिता ह्यध्वराहुतीः । एकादशाऽपि ये रुद्रा लोकपालैकपंक्तयः
vāmayāmāsa bahuśo bhakṣitā hyadhvarāhutīḥ | ekādaśā'pi ye rudrā lokapālaikapaṃktayaḥ
Dia berulang kali menimbulkan kekacauan, kerana āhuti—havi persembahan yajña—benar-benar telah dimakan. Bahkan Kesebelas Rudra, yang berbaris sebaris bersama para Lokapāla (penjaga dunia), turut menjadi kacau-bilau.
Skanda (deduced Kāśīkhaṇḍa narrative voice, typically Skanda to Agastya)
Scene: A blazing sacrificial arena in turmoil: oblations snatched/consumed, smoke and broken ladles; the Eleven Rudras and Lokapālas stand in a single line yet appear bewildered as unseen pramathas disrupt the rite.
Ritual power without reverence for Maheśvara becomes unstable; dharma is upheld when sacrifice is aligned with devotion and humility.
The broader frame is Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) in the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, where Śaiva supremacy and the sanctity of right worship are emphasized.
No direct prescription; the verse critiques a yajña whose oblations are disrupted, implying that proper devotion and inclusion of Śiva are essential.
