सत्युवाच । नाकर्णितं मया किंचित्त्वयि प्रब्रुवति प्रभो । पदद्वयीं समाकर्ण्य तां च ते कथयाम्यहम्
satyuvāca | nākarṇitaṃ mayā kiṃcittvayi prabruvati prabho | padadvayīṃ samākarṇya tāṃ ca te kathayāmyaham
Satī berkata: “Wahai Tuhanku, aku tidak mendengar sedikit pun sesuatu yang diucapkan menentang-Mu. Namun aku ada mendengar beberapa patah kata—itulah yang akan aku khabarkan kepada-Mu.”
