Type: temple
Listener: Devotees/audience
Scene: The hymn is presented like a sacred diagram: 64 names as petals around an eight-verse core; Maṅgalāgaurī stands at the center blessing devotees with symbols of auspiciousness (kalasha, lamp, turmeric, vermilion).
Auspiciousness is attained through structured praise—devotional recitation anchored in divine Names is presented as spiritually efficacious.
Kāśī is the overarching sacred setting of the Maṅgalāgaurī hymn tradition in this chapter.
Recitation of the Maṅgalāṣṭaka / catuḥṣaṣṭy-aṣṭaka stotra in praise of Maṅgalāgaurī to obtain maṅgala (auspicious results).
