ततः प्रववृते युद्धं देवीकर्णाटयोस्तथा । ऋषीणां पश्यतां तत्र वणिजां च द्विजन्मनाम्
tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ devīkarṇāṭayostathā | ṛṣīṇāṃ paśyatāṃ tatra vaṇijāṃ ca dvijanmanām
Kemudian bermulalah peperangan antara Sang Dewi dan Karṇāṭa; para ṛṣi menyaksikan di sana, bersama para pedagang dan golongan dvija (dua kali lahir).
