पुराणमखिलं तात पुरा तेऽधीतवान्पिता । कच्चित्त्वयापि तत्सर्वमधीतं लोमहर्षणे

purāṇamakhilaṃ tāta purā te'dhītavānpitā | kaccittvayāpi tatsarvamadhītaṃ lomaharṣaṇe

“Wahai anak, dahulu ayahmu telah menelaah seluruh Purāṇa. Wahai Lomaharṣaṇa, adakah engkau juga telah mempelajari semuanya itu dengan sempurna?”
