सुखासीनं च तं दृष्ट्वा विघ्नांतमुपलक्ष्य च । अथापृच्छंस्त ऋषयः काश्चित्प्रास्ताविकीः कथाः
sukhāsīnaṃ ca taṃ dṛṣṭvā vighnāṃtamupalakṣya ca | athāpṛcchaṃsta ṛṣayaḥ kāścitprāstāvikīḥ kathāḥ
Tatkala melihat baginda duduk selesa di atas āsana dan menyedari segala halangan telah reda, para resi pun mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan pendahuluan untuk memulakan wacana suci.
