चित्रसेन उवाच । अकामाद्घातितस्त्वं तु मृगभ्रान्त्या मयानघ । गृहीत्वा बहुदारूणि स्वतनुं दाहयाम्यहम्

Transliteration

citrasena uvāca | akāmādghātitastvaṃ tu mṛgabhrāntyā mayānagha | gṛhītvā bahudārūṇi svatanuṃ dāhayāmyaham

Translation

Citrasena berkata: “Wahai orang suci, engkau telah aku bunuh tanpa sengaja, kerana menyangkamu seekor rusa. Dengan mengumpulkan banyak kayu api, aku akan membakar tubuhku sendiri.”
