यत्पुण्यं श्राद्धकर्तॄणां तदिहैव भवेद्ध्रुवम् । तिलोदकं कुशैर्मिश्रं यो दद्याद्दक्षिणामुखः
yatpuṇyaṃ śrāddhakartṝṇāṃ tadihaiva bhaveddhruvam | tilodakaṃ kuśairmiśraṃ yo dadyāddakṣiṇāmukhaḥ
Apa jua pahala bagi mereka yang melaksanakan śrāddha, di sinilah juga ia pasti terbit. Sesiapa menghadap ke selatan lalu mempersembahkan air bijan bercampur rumput kuśa (tarpaṇa), memperoleh buah itu dengan pasti.
