Sembah sujud kepada Śiva—bersama Ambā dan Putera-Nya—yang menjadi Punca Asal. Sembah sujud kepada-Mu, yang dalam rupa lima selubung, terlindung oleh alam semesta yang termanifestasi.

It praises Śiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) who is the original cause, yet appears “veiled” to bound souls because consciousness is covered by layers of limitation; devotion and right knowledge remove these coverings and reveal Śiva’s ever-present grace.
By invoking Śiva “with Ambā” and “with His Son,” the verse supports Saguna worship—approaching the transcendent Lord through compassionate, accessible forms (including the Liṅga as the sacred emblem) while remembering that the same Śiva is beyond all coverings.
Pañcākṣarī japa (“Namaḥ Śivāya”) with contemplation that worldly experience (prapañca) is a veil—paired with Śaiva disciplines such as vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) and Rudrākṣa, offered in bhakti to Śiva-Śakti for unveiling inner awareness.
