Description of the Battle between Tāraka and Kumāra

It contrasts adharma—sinful reliance on deceptive tactics—with the inevitability that such power collapses when confronted by divinely aligned śakti; in Shaiva Siddhanta, Pati’s grace ultimately subdues pasha-bound forces.
The verse underscores Shiva’s saguna governance of the cosmos: even when hostile beings wield weapons and occult strategies, their power is limited under Shiva’s order, and devotion to Shiva (often through Linga worship) aligns one with that protective, dharmic current.
A practical takeaway is to strengthen dharmic śakti through japa of the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and wearing Rudraksha with disciplined conduct, rather than seeking victory through harmful or deceptive means.
