अयं सो अग्निराहुतः पुरुत्रा यमीशानः समिदिन्धे हविष्मान् । परि यमेत्यध्वरेषु होता ॥

ayáṃ só agnír ā́hutaḥ purutrā́ yám ī́śānaḥ sám id indhé havíṣmān | pári yám éty adhvaréṣu hóta ||

Inilah Agni itu, yang dipersembahkan dengan pelbagai cara—yang oleh penguasa yajña dinyalakan sepenuhnya dengan havis. Sebagai Hotṛ ia beredar dalam segala adhvara, menyusun dan menuntunnya dari dalam.
