Sukta 7.1

सेदग्निर्यो वनुष्यतो निपाति समेद्धारमंहस उरुष्यात् । सुजातासः परि चरन्ति वीराः ॥

séd agnír yó vanuṣyató nípāti sameddhā́ram áṃhasa uruṣyā́t | sujātā́saḥ pári caranti vīrā́ḥ ||

Agni ini—apabila seseorang hendak berbakti—turun kepada sang penyala yang baik, dan meluaskannya daripada kesesakan. Di sekelilingnya bergerak para wira yang terlahir baik; daya-daya yang benar beredar dan menjaga.
