लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च
Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation
दीर्घमुष्णंचनिश्वस्यसमुद्वीक्ष्यचलक्ष्मणम् ।उवाचवचनंवीरस्तत्कालहितमात्मनः ।।।।
dīrghamuṣṇaṃ ca niśvasya samudvīkṣya ca lakṣmaṇam |
uvāca vacanaṃ vīras tatkālahitam ātmanaḥ ||
Menarik nafas panjang yang panas, lalu memandang tajam kepada Lakṣmaṇa, wira Rāma pun menuturkan kata-kata yang tepat pada waktunya dan membawa manfaat pada saat itu.
"He has not known my valour in war. Entering the enemy's army holding my formidable Veena, making challenging sounds with the sharp heads of arrows, causing tumultuous noise like the sound of cry of destitute and frightened ones with iron arrows, I will play the Veena of my bow in hand."
