Transliteration

dṛṣṭvā dāśarathir laṅkāṃ citradhvajapatākinīm |

jagāma manasā sītāṃ dūyamānena cetasā ||

Melihat Laṅkā berhias panji dan bendera yang beraneka, Rāma putera Daśaratha, dengan hati yang pedih, mengarahkan fikirannya kembali kepada Sītā.
