“Rāma belum pernah melihat dalam peperangan anak-anak panah di dalam tabung panahku—seperti ular berbisa. Sebab itu dia mahu bertempur denganku.”
Afflicted by sorrow upon seeing the colourful flags and posts of Lanka even Rama's thoughts went about thinking of Sita.
The implied ethical contrast is that Dharma relies on righteous intent and restraint, whereas Adharma seeks intimidation and harm; boasting about ‘poison-like’ weapons reflects a mindset opposed to Satya and justice.
Rāvaṇa continues his self-aggrandizing speech, claiming Rāma challenges him only because he has not witnessed Rāvaṇa’s deadly arsenal.
Implicitly, Rāma’s fearlessness and commitment to duty; explicitly, Rāvaṇa’s cruelty and arrogance.
