The Exposition of the Maheśa Mantra

Mahēśa-mantra-prakāśana

पश्चाच्छीकंठनामानं शिखंडिनमिति क्रमात् । रक्तपीतसितारक्तकृष्णरक्तांजनासितान् ॥ २७ ॥

paścācchīkaṃṭhanāmānaṃ śikhaṃḍinamiti kramāt | raktapītasitāraktakṛṣṇaraktāṃjanāsitān || 27 ||

Seterusnya, menurut tertib, disebut sebagai “bernama Śīkaṇṭha” dan sebagai “Śikhaṇḍin”. Dan lagi, ia dikelaskan menurut warna: merah, kuning, putih, merah, hitam, merah, gelap seperti celak, dan hitam.
