The Exposition of Hanumān’s Protective Kavaca

Māruti-kavaca

ततः कथांते भगवान्मारुतेः कवचं ददौ । मह्यं तत्ते प्रवक्ष्यामि न प्रकाश्यं हि कुत्रचित् ॥ ६ ॥

tataḥ kathāṃte bhagavānmāruteḥ kavacaṃ dadau | mahyaṃ tatte pravakṣyāmi na prakāśyaṃ hi kutracit || 6 ||

Kemudian, pada penghujung kisah itu, Bhagavān mengurniakan kepadaku kavaca, perisai pelindung Māruti (Hanumān). Kini akan kuajarkan kepadamu sebagaimana ia diajarkan kepadaku—kerana ia tidak wajar didedahkan sewenang-wenangnya di mana-mana.
