The Exposition of the Dvādaśī Vow for the Twelve Months

Dvādaśī-vrata-nirṇaya and Mahā-dvādaśī Lakṣaṇas

सर्वदानफला चापि भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदायिनी । यदा तु स्यात्सिते पक्षे द्वादशी जीवभान्विता ॥ १११ ॥

sarvadānaphalā cāpi bhuktimuktipradāyinī | yadā tu syātsite pakṣe dvādaśī jīvabhānvitā || 111 ||

Amalan ini juga menganugerahkan hasil semua sedekah, serta memberi kenikmatan duniawi dan pembebasan. Dan apabila dalam paruh terang, Dvādaśī bersatu dengan Musytari (Guru) dan Matahari, maka keberkesanannya menjadi lebih istimewa.
