Narada
Vrata: Devāṅgirasa-pūjā (as described; not a widely standardized single-name vrata in the verse)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It ties spiritual merit to disciplined observance: fasting and sense-restraint on an auspicious tithi, combined with proper worship of revered divine seers, presenting vrata as a means to purify intention and conduct.
Bhakti here is expressed as orderly worship (samyak samarcayet) supported by inner control (jitendriya) and vrata (upavāsa), showing devotion as both reverence and self-discipline rather than emotion alone.
It reflects calendrical/ritual timing—observance on Māgha Śukla Daśamī—aligning with Jyotiṣa-style tithi reckoning and the procedural emphasis of Kalpa (ritual method) in prescribing fast and worship.
