Narada
Vrata: none (general vrata discipline implied)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It teaches that when a vow is performed exactly according to vidhi, disciplined restraint (like eating once daily) can harmonize with dharmic living, yielding welfare in both this life and the next.
By emphasizing faithful observance of a vow with correct procedure, it frames devotion as steady practice—regulated conduct offered in a spirit of commitment, not merely emotion.
The focus is on ritual procedure (vidhi) and vrata-dharma—practical application of śrauta/smārta discipline rather than technical Vedanga topics like Jyotiṣa or Vyākaraṇa.
