Weal be to thee: let mist be thine; weal be to thee: let the sprinkling-dew sink down and abate. O Cooling One, rich in coolness; O Refreshing One, rich in refreshment—frog-born in the waters, be thou for peace; this goodly fire do thou appease.
Rishi: Atharvanic healer-seer (hymn-level attribution varies).
Devata: Cooling powers (Śītikā, Hlādikā), Waters (Āpas), and the pacified ‘Agni’ as fever-heat.
Chandas: Mixed/irregular (Atharvanic healing litany style).
Primary: shanta
Secondary: karuna
