ऊ॒र्ध्वायां॑ त्वा दि॒शि पु॒रा सं॒वृतः॑ स्व॒धाया॒मा द॑धामि बाहु॒च्युता॑ पृथि॒वी द्यामि॑वो॒परि॑ । लो॒क॒कृतः॑ पथि॒कृतो॑ यजामहे॒ ये दे॒वानां॑ हु॒तभा॑गा इ॒ह स्थ

IAST Transliteration

ūrdhvā́yāṁ tvā diśí purā́ saṁvṛtáḥ svadhā́yā́m ā́ dadhāmi bāhucyútā pṛthivī́ dyā́m-iva úpari | lokakṛ́taḥ pathikṛ́to yajāmahe yé devā́nāṁ hutabhā́gā ihá sthá

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

In the upward quarter, as erst was done, enclosed in Svadhā, I set thee—released from mortal arms—upon the Earth, as though aloft like Heaven. We worship the World-fashioners, the Path-fashioners, who have their portion in the gods’ oblations: be ye here present.

Translation

Pada penjuru yang ke atas, sebagaimana dahulu dilakukan, terlingkup dalam Svadhā, aku menempatkan engkau—terlepas daripada dakapan lengan fana—di atas Bumi, seolah-olah tinggi laksana Langit. Kami memuja para Pembentuk Dunia, para Pembentuk Jalan, yang mendapat bahagian mereka dalam persembahan kepada para dewa: hadirlah kamu di sini.
