शन्नो देवीति मंत्रेण स्वाहाकारसमन्वितम् । पितॄणामर्घपात्रेषु तथैव च जलं क्षिपेत्
śanno devīti maṃtreṇa svāhākārasamanvitam | pitṝṇāmarghapātreṣu tathaiva ca jalaṃ kṣipet
‘शन्नो देवी…’ या मंत्राने, ‘स्वाहा’ उच्चारासह, पितरांच्या अर्घ्यपात्रांतही त्याचप्रमाणे जल अर्पावे।
