ततः स कुपितो मह्यं ददौ शापं द्विजोत्तमः । मिथ्यापहसितो यस्मादहं शापमतोऽर्हसि
tataḥ sa kupito mahyaṃ dadau śāpaṃ dvijottamaḥ | mithyāpahasito yasmādahaṃ śāpamato'rhasi
मग तो द्विजोत्तम माझ्यावर रागावून शाप देऊ लागला—“तू माझा खोटा उपहास केलास; म्हणून तू शापास पात्र आहेस.”
