उन्मध्व ऊर्मिर्वनना अतिष्ठिपदपो वसानो महिषो वि गाहते । राजा पवित्ररथो वाजमारुहत्सहस्रभृष्टिर्जयति श्रवो बृहत् ॥
únmadhva ūŕmir vanánā atiṣṭhipad apó vásāno mahíṣo ví gāhate | rājā pavítraratho vā́jam ā́ruhat sahásrabhṛṣṭir jayati śrávo bṛhát ||
मधूची ऊर्मि (लाट) वर उठते आणि वनांना कंप पाडते; आपः (जल) वस्त्रासारखे धारण करून महिष (महाबलवान) आत खोलवर शिरून विहार करतो. पवित्र-रथावर आरूढ राजा वाज (बल-समृद्धी)वर आरूढ होतो; सहस्र-भृष्टि (हजार धारांची/कडांची दीप्ती)ने तो उंचावरील विशाल श्रवस् (यश) जिंकतो.
