कुमारसम्भवः—गङ्गायां तेजोनिक्षेपः

The Birth of Kumāra/Skanda and the Deposition of Śiva’s Energy through Gaṅgā

ते गत्वा पर्वतं राम कैलासं धातुमण्डितम्।अग्निं नियोजयामासु: पुत्रार्थं सर्वदेवता:।।1.37.10।।

te gatvā parvataṃ rāma kailāsaṃ dhātumaṇḍitam | agniṃ niyojayāmāsuḥ putrārthaṃ sarvadevatāḥ ||

हे राम! सर्व देवगण धातूंनी शोभित कैलास पर्वतावर जाऊन पुत्रप्राप्तीसाठी अग्निदेवांना नियुक्त करू लागले॥
