यमबध्नाद् बृहस्पतिर्देवेभ्यो असुरक्षितिम्। स मायं मणिरागमन्मधोर्घृतस्य धारया कीलालेन मणिः सह
yám abadʰnād bṛ́haspátir devébhyo ásura-kṣitim | sá māyáṃ maṇír ā́gaman mádʰor gʰṛtásya dʰā́rayā kīlā́lena maṇíḥ sahá ||
Whom Bṛhaspati bound on for the Gods, (to win) the Asura’s stronghold—this Jewel came hither with its wondrous power, with honey, with a stream of ghee, together with kīlāla, the Jewel (itself) accompanying.
ज्याला बृहस्पतीने देवांसाठी (असुराच्या) दुर्ग-रक्षण/किल्ल्याचा बळकट ठाणे जिंकण्यासाठी बांधले—तोच हा मणि आपल्या मायाशक्तीसह येथे आला; मधासह, तुपाच्या (घृताच्या) धारेसह, आणि कीलाल (kīlāla)सह—मणि स्वतःही सोबत आहे.
