धन्यं यशस्यं पापघ्नं स्वस्तिकृच्छान्तिकारकम् ॥ श्रुत्वैवं पुरुषः सम्यङ्न दुर्गतिमवाप्नुयात्
dhanyaṃ yaśasyaṃ pāpaghnaṃ svastikṛc chānti-kārakam || śrutvaivaṃ puruṣaḥ samyaṅ na durgatim avāpnuyāt
ഇത് ധന്യവും യശസ്സുനൽകുന്നതും പാപനാശകവും സ്വസ്തിയും ശാന്തിയും വരുത്തുന്നതുമാണ്. ഇങ്ങനെ സമ്യകമായി ശ്രവിച്ചാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ദുര്ഗതി പ്രാപിക്കുകയില്ല.
