इत्युक्तमात्रे वचने तत्रैवाहं शुकोदरः ॥ शुकत्वं तत्क्षणात्प्राप्तः क्षमस्वेत्यूचु तेजसा

ityuktamātre vacane tatraivāhaṃ śukodaraḥ || śukatvaṃ tatkṣaṇātprāptaḥ kṣamasvetyūcu tejasā

ആ വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞ ഉടനെ അവിടെയേ ഞാൻ—ശുകോദരൻ—ക്ഷണത്തിൽ തന്നെ തത്തയുടെ അവസ്ഥ പ്രാപിച്ചു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സാൽ “ക്ഷമിക്കണം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു।
