आद्यो विरंचिनामासीद्यदा ब्रह्मा पितामहः । मृत्युञ्जयस्तदा नाम सोमनाथस्य कीर्तितम्
ādyo viraṃcināmāsīdyadā brahmā pitāmahaḥ | mṛtyuñjayastadā nāma somanāthasya kīrtitam
ആദ്യ (ചക്രത്തിൽ), പിതാമഹനായ ബ്രഹ്മാവ് ‘വിരഞ്ചി’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നപ്പോൾ, സോമനാഥന്റെ കീർത്തിത നാമം ‘മൃത്യുഞ്ജയൻ’ ആയിരുന്നു.
