तस्मादहं महादेवि पंचवक्त्रोऽधुनाऽभवम् । अजस्तु ब्रह्मा सञ्जज्ञे पिचुर्विष्णुरजायत
tasmādahaṃ mahādevi paṃcavaktro'dhunā'bhavam | ajastu brahmā sañjajñe picurviṣṇurajāyata
അതുകൊണ്ട്, മഹാദേവീ, ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പഞ്ചവക്ത്രനായിരിക്കുന്നു. ‘അജ’ ബ്രഹ്മാവായി ജനിച്ചു; ‘പിച്ചു’ വിഷ്ണുവായി അവതരിച്ചു.
