सप्तमं पिचुनामेति सप्तैवं वदनानि मे । तेभ्योऽजं ब्रह्मणे दत्तं पिचुवक्त्रं तु विष्णवे
saptamaṃ picunāmeti saptaivaṃ vadanāni me | tebhyo'jaṃ brahmaṇe dattaṃ picuvaktraṃ tu viṣṇave
ഏഴാമത്തേത് ‘പിച്ചു’ എന്ന നാമമുള്ളത്—ഇങ്ങനെ എനിക്ക് ഏഴ് മുഖങ്ങൾ. അവയിൽ ‘അജ’ മുഖം ബ്രഹ്മാവിന് ദത്തമായി; ‘പിച്ചു’ മുഖം വിഷ്ണുവിന് ദത്തമായി.
