अथ ते निहताः सर्वे विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना । दैत्यसूदननाम्ना तु प्रभासक्षेत्रवासिना
atha te nihatāḥ sarve viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā | daityasūdananāmnā tu prabhāsakṣetravāsinā
അപ്പോൾ അവർ എല്ലാവരും പ്രഭാവശാലിയായ വിഷ്ണുവാൽ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; പ്രഭാസക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന ആ ഭഗവാൻ അവിടെ ‘ദൈത്യസൂദനൻ’—ദൈത്യനാശകൻ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായിരുന്നു।
