कृत्वा व्याघ्रस्य रूपं तु नाम्ना चक्रमुखीति च । हता वै तेन रूपेण ततोऽभूद्दैत्यसूदनः
kṛtvā vyāghrasya rūpaṃ tu nāmnā cakramukhīti ca | hatā vai tena rūpeṇa tato'bhūddaityasūdanaḥ
അവൻ വ്യാഘ്രരൂപം ധരിച്ചു, ‘ചക്രമുഖീ’ എന്ന നാമത്താലും പ്രസിദ്ധനായി. അതേ രൂപത്തിൽ അവരെ വധിച്ചു; ആ കർമം മൂലം ‘ദൈത്യസൂദനൻ’ എന്നു ഖ്യാതി നേടി.
